This interesting antique master violin, which bears an obscure label, was crafted around 1928 by an unknown master - probably in the United States -  had an expressive model as its template. This historic master violin has remained in remarkably good condition. Its orange-brown varnish has darkened over time, giving the violin a historic appearance. The unusually lovely and expressively carved scroll is grafted on, a repair that is commonly found on older instruments of high quality which enjoyed frequent use. The specialist luthiers at our atelier for restoration took great pains in meticulously setting up this instrument, which is with some acceptable restoration in good condition and now ready to play. Its powerful, radiant and mature sound features an outstanding timbre and precision, which is in keeping with the work of its experienced master. This voice is unmistakable and resonant with a dark, mature character. Like all our instruments and bows, this includes our trade-in guarantee and an optional certificate of appraisal.
