An old violin by Frank Reiner. The violin was made in Hamburg in 1924 yet is still perfect, undamaged condition. The label is the original numbered and dated Frank Reiner Hamburgensis label. It is one of the rare premium models of the Mittenwald school. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of flamed maple. The craquelled varnish is a rich oil-based varnish of a warm orange brown color. The violin is yet perfectly preserved, undamaged and crackfree. It is set up with a new bridge, soundpost and strings and is in full playing condition. The warm sound is warm, precise and strong and deserves our recommendation./p>
