Viennese master violin, c.1910

This fine Viennese master violin was handcrafted in the 1910's. A most beautiful replica of Stradivari made in the best Viennes tradition of the early 20th century. The materials are well chosen, the deeply flamed maple that was used for the two piece back is notably beautiful. The rich and glossy oil varnish bears traces from playing, the varnish is highly transparent and of a luminous and bright golden-yellow color, traces of time determine the mature and antique appearance of the instrument. Demanding players will appreciate this excellent Vienna master violin's warm and bright, radiant, sweet and well balanced sound - the tone is of remarkable quality in the price range - clear with singing sweetness in the higher registers and well defined mature warmth in the lower ranges. Like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, this master violin which is completely undamaged has been meticulously worked over by the violin makers in our atelier and is offered with a button repair in very good condition, ready to play.
