A rare gem, artfully handcrafted in the Maximilian street 10 in the Bavarian capitol Munich back in the year 1960. The Maximilian street 10 used to be the location of the "Kunstgeigenbau Reidelbach", a small workshop famous for the well selected tonewoods and the neat workmanship of their string instruments. The top of this artfully made Guarnerius model is made of regular, fine-grained spruce, the two-piece back is made of narrowly flamed maple. The premium tonewoods are thinly covered with transparent golden brown varnish. The violin is in perfect condition and comes with an original label inside the resonance box. The powerful Guarneri-sound emitted through the carefully engraved soundholes can be described as bright, clear and dominant.
