This strong sounding violin after Francesco Stradivari built in the 1920's the Hermann Dölling jun., is an instrument of their premium quality. Hermann Dölling Jun. engaged the best violin makers from the Vogtland region in his workshops and achieved good reputation among international experts and musicians with the excellence of his instrument production. We are offering a Hermann Dölling jun. violin in top condition, a slim model with medium to high arching, made of carefully selected materials. The medium grained spruce of the top and the nicely flamed maple of the two-piece back are first choice tonewoods. The transparent golden-brown varnish was applied over a golden-yellow ground; it shows most minor traces from playing. This Hermann Dölling jun. violin has been carefully set up by our experienced luthiers and is in crackfree condition, ready to play, with a bright voice full of character, bright and open, precise and strong, with some soft aspects in the lower registers.
