This antique German violin was built around 1920, probably in the renowned workshops of the Schuster & Co. company in Markneukirchen, Saxony. It is a good example of the quality that instruments by Schuster & Co. have always been famous for. This unlabeled violin is typical Schuster & Co. piece of work and well crafted, with a clearly defined, flat arching, cleanly cut soundholes with characteristical shape, and with a highly appealing, antiqued varnish of a beautiful rluminous red-brown color. Visible signs from playing have no impact on the godd and powerful sound qualities of this good Markneukirchen violin: Our violin makers meticulously worked this undamaged antique violin over and made it ready to play - its convincing sound is strong, mature, strong and of singing character and good resonance.
