A rare old Mittenwald violin made by J.A. Baader (purpeyor to the court of Bavaria). The instrument was handmade in Mittenwald in 1923. It is originally labeled and dated. It is set up with a new bridge, soundpost and Pirastro strings and is in full playing condition. Its dark resonant sound is clear and strong, carrying, with excellent volume and strength. Comes with an appraisal for € 2.500 by master maker Anton Sprenger, Mittenwald. An excellent instrument, special recommendation!
