This silver mounted German violin bow was handcrafted in the 1970's by Roderich Paesold in the long-established Roderich Paesold workshops, that were founded in 1848. The dark-brown colored stick is made of pernambuco wood and bears the faded "Roderich Paesold" stamp over the frog that was used for premium bows only. A nice and fluid player with both medium tense but strong enough stick, good elasticity and balance that feels notably lightweight in the hand and which is strong yet somewhat forgiving at play.
