An excellent German violin bow by master bowmaker Richard Grünke. The bow was made around 1980 in Bubenreuth, it bears the R. Grünke stamp on shaft above the frog. The strong octagonal stick is made of brown pernambuco wood, the ebony frog is German silver mounted with Parisian eye. The bow feels perfectly balanced, it has its balance point in the lower third towards the frog. The weight is 62,1 g, the length 74,3 cm. The bow has new hair, silver winding and leather and is in immediate playing condition. Produces a huge, rich sound and is quite active at its weight. Special recommendation!
