German violin from Markneukirchen - From the traditional Schuster & Co. company comes this antique German violin, which was built in approximately 1920. As it is not uncommon for Schuster & Co violins that were also sold to dealers and maker for resale, it has no original label of the renowned Markneukirchen manufacturer of musical instruments. Following individual Guarnerius patterns, this antique violin has the beautifully shaped corners, which are typical for the Markneukirchen tradition of violin making. Its golden-brown varnish over a light ground is responsible for the interesting antique appearance of the violin. With a repair to the right soundhole and some signs from playing we are able to offer this violin in good condition and ready to play at a competitive price. It was completely and thorougly worked over in our workshop. With the new Pirastro strings the sound unfolds perfectly, suitable even for advanced players: strong and beautiful, bright, clear, but with depth and mature.
