From the traditional Schuster & Co. company comes this old German violin, which was built around 1920 and has the "Deutsche Arbeit" export label of the renowned Markneukirchen manufacturer of musical instruments. Following individual patterns, the instrument has the beautifully rounded corners, which are typical for the Markneukirchen tradition of violin making. Its very darkened red varnish over a light ground is responsible for the interesting antique appearance of the violin. With some scratches and varnish defects and a small repair to the right f-hole we are able to offer this instrument at a competitive price. It was completely and thorougly worked over in our workshop, including a new ebony setup; pegs, bridge and soundpost have been replaced. With the new Pirastro strings the sound unfolds perfectly, suitable even for advanced players: strong and beautiful, bright, clear, but with depth and mature. This violin deserves the recommendation of a preofssional violinist.
