This fine quality French cello bow is a superior quality work by Ary France, an elegant piece that features beautiful sound and playing properties. It was built approx. 1990 in Mirecourt. The strong round stick was made of red-brown pernambuco wood and is a clear example of good craftsmanship, as the tastefully curved, long head demonstrates. The nickel mounted ebony frog is decorated by beautiful Parisian eyes, a white shimmering mother-of-pearl slide and a three-part adjuster. This fine quality Ary France cello bow is perfectly preserved and has its balance-point in the lower half, towards the frog, measured at 23.6 cm of 71.8 cm total length, including the adjuster. This affordable French cello bow is undamaged and was worked over in our workshop and is offered ready to play, with a special recommendation due to its warm, bright, fluid, French sound.
