Store Manager (m/f/d) – Cremona Violin Store, Cremona

The Cremona violin store is our flagship store in the heart of Cremona, one of the world’s most important centers of violin making. We offer a wide range of high-quality instruments and bows, combined with expert advice and the highest standards of professionalism and service quality.

Your Responsibilities

  • Professional customer service and advice in the store
  • Sales of instruments and accessories
  • Organization of daily store operations
  • Acceptance of instruments for sale and proper documentation
  • Performing light organizational and maintenance tasks in the store
  • Supporting marketing activities on online platforms (e.g. maintaining product listings)
  • Contributing to social media activities (posts, updates, small campaigns)

Your Profile

  • Experience in retail or working with musical instruments is an advantage
  • Enjoyment of working with customers and a strong service orientation
  • Strong organizational skills and a precise, careful way of working
  • Excellent English skills are strictly required
  • Additional language skills (Italian or German) are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of social media and online marketing desirable
  • Trustworthiness and reliability are essential
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a sense of responsibility

Violin maker or master violin maker (Munich)

In our modern workshop, you will routinely carry out all work involved in preparing, repairing and, if necessary, restoring our wide range of old and new string instruments to make them ready to play in the best technical quality. Taking care of customers with appointments is also part of your job. At our company, you will work independently on an unparalleled variety of interesting string instruments from all periods of violin-making history. Your profile as a violin maker:

  • You have successfully completed your training as a violin maker and/or passed the master's examination.
  • You have several years of professional experience.
  • You work independently and demonstrate a goal-oriented, precise and meticulous work ethic.

  • You work purposefully and with high technical and aesthetic standards.
  • You have the desire to continuously develop and improve your own skills

Workshop manager: master luthier (Cremona)

In our beautiful historic workshop in Piazza San Michele in Cremona, you will work with one or two journeymen on your own responsibility, almost like in your own workshop. You will organise the workshop and carry out all the work involved in making instruments ready to play, repairs and, if necessary, restoration, in order to prepare our wide range of old and new string instruments to the highest technical quality. You will also be involved in the production of new violins and violas in small series. You can expect to live in Italy, work in an extremely attractive environment, carry out a wide range of tasks, find new fulfilment every day, work with two friendly Italian colleagues and receive above-average remuneration for your excellent work.
