This especially attractive French 3/4 sized violin with a warm, mellow sound was made in Mirecourt, France, around 1930, probably in the Laberte workshops. The varnish is of a shiny and intense golden-orange color over a yellow ground, in excellent condition with only minor wear. This pretty French 3/4 violin is crackfree and in immediate playing condition. The luthiers at Corilon have carefully worked over this small sized violin and made in ready to play. The warm, well balanced sound of this small violin is bright and open with a somewhat mellow character.
