Crafted around 1920 in the French town of Mirecourt, this French 1/8 violin is a premium children's instrument with exceptional acoustic qualities. Its warm, large sound is perfectly suited for competitive use, which can only be said of very few good violins of such small size. This good 1/8 violin's balanced voice is sophisticated and full of overtones, with good volume in the lower registers. Its mature character and outstanding resonance are compelling. The oranget-brown varnish, expressively carved scroll and the vertically positioned sound holes contribute to the individual character of this little 1/8 violin, which is a true beauty featuring very mild flames on its two-piece maple back. We recommend this very well-preserved instrument, a true rarity, which we offer ready to play. It is an ideal partner for the musical education of young and ambitious talents.
