Rare French 1/2 violin bow for young talents
This rare French 1/2-sized violin bow was made approx. 1920 in the famous violin and bow making town of Mirecourt, most presumably in the renowned workshops of JTL or Laberte. The strong, round stick was crafted of brazil wood and set up with an elegant, nickel mounted ebony frog, that is decorated by the typical Pearl eye. The total weight of this French 1/2 sized violin bow is 39.7 g, with a sensed balance-point centered. A very andy and highly recommendable bow suitable for young talents that works with most 1/2 violins and adds some beautiful warmth to the tone. Its bright, fluid sound is exceptionally beautiful and worthy of its French provenance!
