This master viola bow by Heinz Dölling improves the sound of violas that need some support with clarity and precision. This fine Heinz Dölling Markeukirchen viola bow is a highly recommended masterpiece by this renowed modern Markneukirchen bow maker. With its powerful, radiantly bright sound, the viola bow may compensate for shortcomings of violas that sound somewhat dull or imprecise. Its focussed sound and very good balance do credit to the family tradition in which its builder stood, since the name Dolling is one of the best established names of Vogtland violin and bow making. The octagonal stick made of high quality, light brown pernambuco wood as a tense and reactive player. The original stamps of the Dölling family workshop on stick and frog prove the origin of this fine silver mounted viola bow, which was built around 1950 and which we offer with a repair above the head plate at a highly reduced price, ready to play.
