German violin bow by H.R. Pfretzschner, powerful and silver-mounted

This powerful German H.R. Pfretzschner violin bow was crafted in the early 20th century by Hermann Richard Pfretzschner in Markneukirchen, a name that enjoys an excellent reputation. The firm octagonal stick bears the original H. R. Pfretzschner stamp on the shaft and frog, and it is made of the finest pernambuco wood, agile, with high resilience and response. The frog with a mother-of-pearl eye made of the finest ebony is also originally stamped and silver-mounted. The perceived center of gravity is in the middle with a slight tendency towards the tip, so that the violin bow lies well in the hand. This strong H. R. Pfretzschner violin bow tolerates a lot of pressure, plays directly and powerfully and produces a warm, bright, radiant, full, warm sound. Free of shipping costs, with a 30-day right of return.
