French violin bow from the J.T.L. workshop in Mirecourt. This French violin bow made of brazilwood was created around 1940 and is a typical example of simple French violin bows of master craftsmanship quality at the time of their greatest successes. The round stick is of medium strength, reactive, powerful, taut and lively and of high elasticity, its perceived center of gravity is in the middle, slightly in the upper half, measured at 26.4 cm of the total length of 74.2 cm. Values that describe an active French violin bow with all the good playing characteristics for which French bow making is famous. With a mother-of-pearl eye and a finely shimmering mother-of-pearl slide, this French nickel-silver mounted violin bow is as simple as it is elegant. A work from an experienced hand, this fine, ready-to-play French violin bow has a bright, French, warm and golden tone. Includes 30-day return policy, trade-in guarantee and optional certificate.
