French violin bows are sought after for their good playability and sound characteristics. This old French violin bow is a good piece of craftsmanship in the style of Jean-Joseph Martin, built in the mid-20th century. The round stick made of light-colored tropical wood is medium-strong and elastic and has its broadly distributed center of gravity in the middle, slightly towards the upper half of the stick. With its very good weight distribution, this well-preserved violin bow has soft, forgiving playing characteristics. It plays easily and responsively and produces a bright, sweet sound. This violin bow is therefore perfect for muted or soft-sounding violins. The frog is mounted with beautiful nickel silver parts. The delicately crafted head shows individual style. This beautiful, typically French Mirecourt violin bow is in excellent condition and, like all of our violin bows, is naturally set up and ready to play. Corilons trade-in guarantee and an optional certificate of appraisal are included.
