Made from high-quality, dark pernambuco, this very light French Laberte violin bow belongs to the upper class of French bows from Mirecourt, if only because of the choice of this exquisite material. The extremely finely crafted head shows that this Laberte violin bow was made by an experienced hand who was familiar with the great model in detail. The round, nickel-silver mounted stick of this violin bow, which weighs approx. 48 g in total, plays softly; its central centre of gravity, which tends slightly towards the upper half, supports a more drawing playing technique. The warm and at the same time bright sound of this active violin bow excellently picks up the characteristics of different violins with its pleasantly soft undertone.
