This beautiful modern violin bow is a good quality piece of work that was probably made in England on the model of Pecatte. The octagonal, unstamped stick shows good countertension at play, so it plays fluidly and actively and can take pressure at play. The stick is made of best quality red-brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is silver mounted and equipped with a three-part ebony-silver adjuster. At a length of 74.1 cm, the felt balance point is centered, slightly inclined towards the upper half of the stick. This interesting violin has a silver head plate, a bow has been maintained in very good condition and is offered - like all violin bows from Corilon violins - with new hair and ready to play. It produces a warm, clear and powerful tone and works well with most instruments.
