This bow is an excellent violin bow by H.R. Pfretzschner, with perfect balance and a fine precise tone. The bow was made in Markneukirchen around 1910. The round stick is made of brown pernambuco wood. The stick is of excellent stiffness and elasticity. The bow bears the H.R. Pfretzschner stamps on shaft and on the frog. The blank ebony frog is nickel mounted with a white pearl slide. The bow is in perfect condition. The length is 74 cm. The bow is an excellent players bow producing a bright, strong, brilliant and precise tone. Special recommendation!
