Made in the 1920s, this handsome German violin bow has an agile, strong and active stick that produces a warm, bright, and sweet lovely sound. The octagonal stick made of the finest light brown pernambuco has a perfect thickness distribution. With its balance point perceived in the upper half of the stick, this good violin bow lies comfortably and lightweight in the hand and is easy to handle. The ebony frog with mother-of-pearl eye (reworked at the thumb spot) and three-part adjuster give the violin bow an appealing visual appearance whose good musical qualities invite for frequent playing. After a careful workover in our workshop, we offer this quality German Markneukirchen violin bow ready to play, which with its its warm, bright, sweet tone completemnts best dark and dull sounding violin.
