This fine German violin bow was handcrafted of finest quality red-brown pernambuco wood by an unknown German master bow maker in the 1930's. The round stick is of medium strength and elasticity and is forgiving at play. The violin bow is equipped with a finely made nice ebony frog that is decorated with a mother-of-pearl eye, while the slide is shimmering yellow and green. The violin bow features a bright, somewhat mellow sound and works very well with dark, mellow or dull sounding violins as it adds clarity to the violin tone. The bow's balance point is sensed centered, slightly shifted towards the upper half of the stick and measured at 25.9 cm of the total length of 74.6 cm. With its total weight of nearly 59 g the violin bow offers comfortable and precise playing opportunities.
