Lightweight German violin bow from the 1970's stamped "A Lamy a Paris" that features a beautiful strength/tension ratio, a light weight and easy handling, excellent reacitvity and elasticity and a perfect weight distribution with a balance-point that is sensed well-centered, slightly shifted towards the upper half to enable easy handling and virtuoso play. This good violin bow has a handy stick featuring high tension and that was crafted of fine, orange-brown pernambuco wood; its overall appearance is very typical for violin bows from the traditional violin making town of Markneukirchen in Saxony, where it was crafted approx. 1970. The nickel mounted ebony frog and the head demonstrates the flawless craftsmanship of the bow. According to its recommendable playing properties this excellent German violin bow features a bright, strong, radiant somewhat French-typed sound. This violin bow works well with most instruments and will add clarity to the tone of your violin. Like all our violin bows, delivered free of shipping costs with a 30-day return policy and Corilon's upgrade & trade-in guarantee.
