Recommendable antique violin bow from Germany, a strong powerful player producing a bright, powerful and radiant tone, was made in Markneukirchen in the 1950ies. It is designed in dependance on the works of Parisian master Eugene Sartory. The quality of the materials and the workmanship, especially the fine work on the head, are noteworthy. The ebony frog is nickel-mounted and appareled with nacre slide and Parisian eye. The octagonal red brown pernambuco stick is of superb quality, of high tension, strength and elasticity. The overall length is 74.3 cm with the felt balance-point centered, slightly inclined towards the upper half of the bow stick. The violin bow is in excellent condition and produces a strong, powerful and radiant bright sound.
