Fine quality light brown pernambuco wood provides good stability and surprisingly high elasticity of the octagonal stick. The balance-point of this bow is slightly inclined towards the lower half of the stick. The delicate head and slight signs from playing feature the nice character of the violin bow that is equipped with a blank, silver mounted ebony frog. Last but not least the tonal properties of this well playing bow are convincing: with its bright and clear, ringing sound this bow would well complement a mellow, dull toned violin and suits a player who does use normal to high pressure at bowing.
