Old German violin from Klingenthal - Made by Schwarzmeisel

This lovely German violin comes from the traditional Klingenthal Schwarzmeisel workshop; the violin was built by hand in the first half of the 20th century. The sound of this well preserved violin is mature, resonant, warm, sweet, rich in overtones - balanced across the strings. The transparent varnish is of a bright orange-brown color. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of flamed maple from the region. Our luthiers have worked up the violin in detail and made it ready to play. In the prcie range, this violin is especially recommended for demanding musicians!
