This violin is an exzellent sounding German violin made in the 1940'ies. The violin was handmade in Germany as a copy of Antonius Stradivarius as indicated by the label. The wood on top is medium grained spruce, the one piece back of mildly flamed maple. The back is pinned, the button with an ebony crown. The violin is in perfect undamaged condition. It has been checked and set up by our luthier with a new bridge, soundpost and strings and can be played right away. The violins bright brilliant sound is huge, strong, resonant and well-balanced. The violin projects very well.
