This fine contemporary master violin by Munich violin maker Christian Lijsen is a new instrument which will satisfy the demands of professional musicians. It was made in 2012 and features Christian Lijsens's brand mark and the original dated label. Lijsen has a solid reputation amongst contemparary musicians, and the bright, resonant sound of this violin with its many overtones serves as further confirmation of his skill. Patterned after a model by Paolo Antonio Testore, this violin has a compellingly large and resonant voice which gives musicians broad options for interpretation. The visual aesthetic of this fine master instrument also demonstrates the quality with which it was crafted, the expressively carved scroll and premium tone woods, complemented by a rich layer of golden-brown oil varnish with expert antiqueings. The new violin by Christian Lijsen is in perfect condition.
