A pretty good replica of Stradivaris' model. This concert violin was handcrafted almost one hundred years ago in Bohemia. Modelled after the Italian patterns, the scroll is made precisely and with much love to the details. The craftsmanship shows as well in the tonewoods chosen for the violin. Especially the tightly flamed maple of the back and the antique looking golden brown varnish distribute their parts to the intsruments glamorous character. Only the tonal qualities exceed the marvellous optical appearence of the violin. A remarkable, bright and liquid sound, well-balanced, even over the strings and of a mature character. The sensitive response and the instruments extraordinary character make it a good choice for concert players and soloists. This old violin is undamaged and in perfect condition.
