The mild arches of the body feature handsome, soft fluting on the top and back, and the interior also reflects the outstanding craftsmanship of the instrument. A rich, luminous and highly transparent orange-brown oil varnish with slight craquellation complements the broad flames of the one-piece maple back and ribs. Delicately executed purfling sets the premium tone woods in an excellent light.
