Made on his personal model he made this fine violin after the death of his father Gaetano Gadda during a time he was still largely influenced by the family's tradition. The varnish is of an intensely shining deep red-brown color - of premium quality, medium signs of use. The fine quality woods are medum grained spruce for the top, the back of narrow flamed maple. The body is elegantly shaped, top and back are arched in the middle. The scroll is carved with the utmost precision down to the finest detail, creating a magnificent tribute to its maker's skill.
