Mario Gadda violin with an exceptional sound quality especially suitable for professionals

This Mario Gadda violin is one of his personal and fine earlier works made in 1972. Made after the personal model of his father he made this fine violin nearly 15 years after the death of his father Gaetano Gadda during a time he was still largely influenced by the family's tradition. His success as a violin maker should lead the Mario Gadda workshop to one of the largest and most productive workshops that ranked among the well-known addresses in Italian violin making - well-known amongst musicians far beyond the borders of Italy, thanks to sophisticated restorations and top-quality new instruments. The oil varnish is of an intensely shining deep orange-brown color - of premium quality, medium signs of use. The fine quality woods are medum grained spruce for the top, the back of deeply flamed maple. The body is elegantly shaped, top and back are arched in the middle. The scroll is carved with the utmost precision down to the finest detail, creating a magnificent tribute to its maker's skill. This beautiful Mario Gadda violin combines all the tonal qualities most desired by musicians: warmth, volume, singing clarity and resonance, a somewhat mellow Italian undertone and beautiful sweetness in the upper registers. A certificate by Mario Gadda is inlcuded in the price and can be viewed with a click on the certificate button above.
