This rare Collin-Mezin Pere violin was made in Mirecourt around 1900. In much played condition with many varnish marks, we offer this fine violin at a special price. The model is typically flat arched, with one piece back. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the back, ribs and scroll of deeply flamed maple. This beautiful and exceptionally sonorous violin inspires with its mature, warm and radiant open sound, well balanced across the strings and registers. The violin has character and responds very easily, with a warm and mature, ending, sweet and overall very well-balanced sound. Like all of our violins and bows, includes Corilon's trade-in guarantee and an optional certificate of value.
