Old French violin made in approximately 1910 in the workshops of Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy (J.T.L.) in Mirecourt, the well-known center of violin making in the Vosges mountains of France. It is a typical, wide Stradivari model with a beautiful, orange-brown varnish of high transparency. With its wide-figured two-piece maple back and the beautiful, typically French-looking scroll, this lovely violin has a beautiful, elegant appearance. We are offering this antique French violin in good condition, free of cracks, and—like all our instruments—fully set up by our violin-making workshop and ready to play. We highly recommend this Fench Mirecourt violin for its warm, sweet and bright voice, that is of mature character, resonant and rich in overtones. Like all our instruments and bows, the price includes free wordlwide shipping, our trade-in guarantee, a certificate of appraisal is optional.
