A beautiful antique violin by Antonio Lorenzi. The instrument was made around 1910–1920 in Mirecourt. The instrument, numbered 2035, is built in the typical French style: with characteristic arching and a beautiful Stradivari-style design. The top is made of medium-aged spruce, whilst the two-piece back is made of flamed sycamore. The beautiful orange-brown varnish shows some signs of wear (retouched); nevertheless, this fine Antonio Lorenzi violin is crack-free and in perfect condition. The sound, which is outstanding for this price range, is full, clear and precise, mature with lovely resonance and, overall, commanding. Highly recommended! Delivered free of charge, as with all our violins, with a 30-day right of return and Corilon’s trade-in guarantee.
