This beautiful antique Markneukirchen violin is an example of typical Saxonian master-made trade quality craftsmanship of the early to mid 20th century, following Stradivari patterns. The flat arching, gently rising towards the middle, and the beautiful scroll are especially well-crafted. Orange-brown Markneukirchen varnish - with patination and signs of age that allow us to offe rthis good violin at the price - covers the carefully selected tonewoods, medium grained spruce and very nice quality flamed maple, of which the two-piece back is made. This perfectly preserved and completely worked-over affordable Markneukirchen violin is ready to play and features a strong, bright and clear, matured sound.
