Old violin from Mittenwald - quality workmanship
This old violin from Mittenwald, built around 1960 in a Mittenwald workshop, is a fine piece of craftsmanship—a fine piece of craftsmanship built under the guidance of a master, as can be seen from the simpler but solid workmanship . The master's supervision, on the other hand, can be seen in the workmanship of the top and back, which also account for the violin's powerful, radiant sound. The medium-aged spruce of the top and the mildly flamed maple of the two-piece back are beautiful tonewoods from Mittenwald, characteristic of the mountain forests of the Karwendel region. The attractive reddish-brown varnish shows signs of wear, which do not detract from the quality of this flat-arched instrument. This highly recommended Mittenwald violin has been preserved without damage or repairs. The violin has been carefully inspected in our violin workshop and impresses with its clear, powerful, open sound. Free shipping, with a 30-day return policy and trade-in guarantee.
