German violin from Markneukirchen/Saxony, a well handmade old violin after the Stradivari model, whose back is made of mildly flamed maple and does not have a corresponding model label. A skilled Saxon luthier worked out the well-proportioned arching of the top and back with good craftsmanship. Maple, from which the back is made, and tastefully designed soundholes define the aesthetics of this pretty violin, which is finished with a highly patinated orange-brown transparent spirit oil varnish. With no damage, this quality old violin is in very good condition and after thorough refurbishing by our luthier's workshop, it is immediately ready to play, with a powerful, warm voice that is of good resonance and tonal strength.
