Outstanding violin by Hermann Dölling Junior

This violin, a Maggini model from the house of Hermann Dölling jr. in Markneukirchen, is an instrument of very good quality, built around 1910, with the Hermann Dölling Jr. original labelinside the body. With its particularly gently arched back, golden brown spirit oil varnish and the rather small, beautiful scroll, this antique violin from Markneukirchen in Germany shows distinctive character. The regular spruce of the top, the mildly flamed maple of the two-piece back and the cleanly crafted purfling reveal the excellent craftsmanship that is characteristic of this internationally renowned traditional company Hermann Dölling jun. Richly applied varnish of light-brown color completes the eceptional quality appearance of this violin, which is in excellent condition and, like all Corilon instruments, has been thoroughly restored and made ready to play by the luthiers in our workshop. Very convincing is its warm, large, resonant sound which is rich in volume and overtones.
