This modern Italian violin by Bruno Piastri, pupil of Cesare Pollastri, is an especially attractive and affordable instrument within our selection of contemporary Italian violins. It was made in Gabbice in 1993 and is gorgeous Italian instrument that combines all the advantages of traditional and modern violin making. The purfling was crafted carefully and precisely, just as the shining and luminous red oil varnish that was richly applied. The one-piece back was made from mildly flamed sycamore maple, that clearly demonstrates the high quality of the tonewoods Bruno Piastri chose for this violin. The violin is originally labeled and stamped. This Bruno Piastri violin is in perfect, immediate playing condition, ready to unfold its warm sound of medium strength that is bright and radiant in the upper ranges and of a unique character
