A modern Italian violin made by Giuseppe Lamperti. The violin was made in the 1990's in Italy. The great advantage of purchasing modern violins is that new instruments combine all achievements that have been made in violin making during the last 300 years. This Giuseppe Lamperti violin is in fine, near mint condition. The top is a two piece top made of medium grained Italian spruce, the two piece back of narrow flamed maple. The ribs, neck and scroll are similar flamed. The rich varnish has oil components and is of an intense dark red color. The violin has a professional grade sound combining warmth, Italian mellowness, colors, maturity and clarity. Special recommendation!
