Italian violin from Cremona with bright, carrying tone. This affordable old Italian violin comes from the Officina Claudio Monteverde Antonio Lechi and was made in Cremona in 1923. Thes model is idiosyncratic in appearance with quite beautiful, graceful soundholes and a delicate, small scroll. The oil varnish is of deep luminous orange-brown color over golden ground, the varnish overall patinated and well preserved with retouching and playing marks. This Italian violin has been overhauled by our luthier and is ready to play without any restrictions. This pretty Antonio Lechi violin has a big, bright, brilliant and very carrying strong sound and suits good players with strong bowing.
