A piece of striking individuality, this 1922 violin was made by Paul Ritter in Schöneck. This old violin was patterned after Guarneri's classic model and is rich in character, as is expressively communicated in the small, disctinctively shaped scroll. An orange-brown oil varnish coats the body with its flat arches; the two-piece back was fashioned out of gently flamed maple. The unmistakable aesthetic of this violin is an excellent match for the acoustic profile of its crystal-clear and brilliant sound. This violin is full of self-confident personality, and we offer it in undamaged condition and ready to play after having been and thoroughly set up by the specialists in our atelier.
