Violin from Erlangen (Bubenreuuth). This German violin is a typical example for the inspiring sound quality of violins from Bubenreuth, that was enjoyed by generations of young instrumentalists. This Bubenreuth violin of noteworthy beautuful tonewoods was built in the 1970s after a Stradivarius model. The transparent yellow-brown varnish with signs of age and playing was applied over a yellow ground and is typical for the region of Bubenreuth and determines the interesting character of the violin, that is perfectly preserved and was completely worked over by our luthiers. It is a very suitable and robust partner for ambitious young violinists and features a strong and convincing sound, that is strong and resonant, powerful and with some dark note. Suits best young male players from a strong bow technique.
