This well preserved German student violin was built in 1983 in the Bavarian town of Bubenreuth. As the original label indicates, it was crafted in the well-known Karl Höfner workshops. The solid, handcrafted instrument was built after a Stradivari model and bears nice details such as the fine purfling and the glossy spirit-oil varnish. Our luthier thoroughly worked over the old violin and applied new pegs, bridge, soundpost and planed the fingerboard - valuable and professional services that are included in our prices, and so this violin is immediately ready to play. Its warm and clear sound is bright and strong, our special recommendation for orchestral use.
