Antique violin by Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy (J.T.L.)

Good sounding antique French violin crafted approx. 1900 in the well-known workshops of Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy (J.T.L.) in Mirecourt. It is an old stringed instrument of the Stradivarius model that features an interesting, nonstandard appearance. This antique JTL violin, which is tonally recommended, has medium high archings. The varnish shows some signs of use and patiantion due to its high age. This unique style of the violin is completed by the antique character of the red brown colored varnish, that developed interesting patina and bears traces of use by former owners. The expressive scroll is another detail of the violin´s individuality. Our expert luthiers completely worked over this well preserved instrument that jas some minor flaws and made it ready to play with a new ebony setup. Now this French J.T.L. violin features very comfortable playing properties and expresses its beautiful, strong and powerful sound, that is resonant and clear with some dark note. Includes 30 days returns, free worldwide shipping, Corilon's trade-in programme and an optional certificate of appraisal.
