German student cello, 2006

This 4/4-sized cello is a quality student instrument, that was thoroughly crafted and is offered in best condition. The body bears the dated original label of the Wagner violin making company inside and was crafted of solid tonewoods, that feature grains with interesting irregularities. Orange-brown colored varnish covers the table of medium grained spruce and the two-piece maple back. The purfling and the scroll were precisely executed and determine the nice appearance of the instrument. This cello is recommendable for educational purposes due to its strong, warm and bright sound. It was worked over completely by our luthiers and is offered ready to play.
