Light French violin bow by Marc Laberte with a warm, full-bodied tone that is forgiving of mistakes
French violin bow by Marc Laberte with original maker's mark and Guillaume certificate. This is a lovely lightweight Mirecourt violin bow with a warm, full-bodied tone, built by Marc Laberte in Mirecourt around 1950. The round, medium-stiff to soft stick is made of fine-quality Pernambuco wood and offers forgiving playing characteristics. The ebony frog is mounted with nickel silver and features a Parisian eye. The weight is around 54 g, yet the sound produced is surprisingly warm and full. The center of gravity feels centered, leaning slightly toward the upper half of the stick. Prepared for play like all our string instruments and bows, undamaged and in good condition, this highly recommended French violin bow by Marc Laberte is delivered ready to play. The certificate from Pierre Guillaume is included in the price. Like all string instruments and bows from Corilon violins, it is delivered with free shipping, a 30-day return policy, and an unlimited trade-in guarantee.
