French violin bow - very good playing properties!

Charles Nicolas Bazin established the Bazin workshop in Mirecourt in 1869. Always following the principles of Tourte, Bazins workmanship was of high precision and quality. Today bows of the Bazin's and the atelier led by the Bazin grandchildren in the 20th century are highly demanded by musicians worldwide. The French violin bow of pernambuco offered here, weighing a light 53.5 g, probably originates from the Bazin workshop run by the Bazin grandchildren in the 20th century and lives up to its great name thanks to the careful selection of materials and good craftsmanship. The forgiving round ferrules made of pernambuco wood have a pleasant elasticity, high tension and good strength. The perceived centre of gravity of the violin bow is in the middle, and the violin bow is well balanced and easy to handle. It produces a large, warm, radiant sound.
